You are given a teaspoon as an object. Now apply each one of the SCAMPER techniques to it and give a brief explanation of what new product comes of this and how it can be marketed.
I have created a multipurpose spoon that can be used both as a spoon, knife and a fork. When I designed this I thought about school kids that needed something small and practical so they can eat their lunsj no matter what they have in their lunsj boxes. I was also thinking about camping or other people that needed something small and practical, and a multipurpose is always a good idea.

SCAMPER used in this project:
Substitute: I changed the material on the spoon from metal to recycled plastic that is better for the environment.
Combine: I combined the spoon with a fork and a knife for an all in one that is practical.
Adapt: I adapted a key chain so it would be easy to carry the spoon on a backpack for school or camping.
Modify: You will be able to adjust the length on the handels so it is easy to both carry and to use for a meal.
Put to other use: The spoon contains measurements to use in cooking. There are exact measurement for tablespoon (TBS) and teaspoon (TS). The knife has a 10 cm long ruler on the handle, and this can be a great tool for school kids.
Eliminate: I eliminated the small sized tea spoon with a bigger spoon that is more practical for both eating and cooking. I eliminated the boring grey metal colour into different fun colours that would be appealing for kids.
Rearrange: I rearranged it by changing the sizing of the spoon. If you just flip to one side you will get a knife or a fork instead of a spoon.
